SECONDARY VOCATIONAL TRAINING
**Please see Additional Information on Applying under the Concurrent/Dual Enrollment TAB**
All Public School Students are afforded the opportunity to attend their local Career Center during their high school years and will earn credit for both high school electives and most courses will count towards completing the certification in that program post secondary. This is a GREAT way to find out if you really like a career area you are interested in AND obtain free course credit towards the certification needed for that career. Most programs are free of charge. You will be responsible for transportation to and from the center and there could be some supplies or uniforms the student may be responsible for purchasing, but the majority of costs will be through state funding as ARCA is a Public Charter School. There are some centers that charge to attend, so please make an appointment with your counselor to discuss your plan.
